Discharge Information

Discharge documents are issued by the Patient Admissions Office. Your relatives are kindly requested to arrive early at the Hospital so that all necessary procedures can be completed in a timely manner. Their prompt arrival also facilitates the admission of other patients who may be waiting.
At the end of the hospitalization, the discharge form is handed to the patient or their attendant by the Ward Nurse Manager. This form must then be submitted to the Patient Admissions Office for verification and financial clearance, in the case of self-paying patients.

Upon discharge, the patient or their attendant must:
  • Report to the appropriate office to complete the discharge process and receive any further instructions.
  • If the patient is uninsured (without AMKA), they must, upon discharge, settle the corresponding charges, calculated according to the number of hospitalization days or the cost of the surgical procedure performed. The exact amount can be provided by the relevant office (Patient Accounts).
Before leaving the Hospital, please ensure that:
  • You have received instructions regarding your post-discharge medication or treatment.
  • You have requested from the Ward Nurse Manager any medical documents you must take with you upon departure.
  • Any hospital equipment you used has been returned.
  • Your financial obligations have been settled with the Patient Admissions Office.
  • You have collected your discharge document from the Patient Admissions Office.
  • You have scheduled any necessary follow-up appointments either online or in consultation with your physician.
